Taylor Swift and boyfriend Harry Styles jetted off to England for Swifts 23rd birthday, which was yesterday. And Swift had a jam-packed day. In addition to releasing a new music video for I Knew You Were Trouble on MTV and spending some quality time with Styles, there were a few unexpected surprises for The X Factor guest star. Keep reading for all the details.
According to US Weekly, Swift and Styles jetted off to England for a nice vacation where Styles treated Swift to the splendor of his home country by ! giving her the grand tour. And in honor of her birthday, he decided to treat her to 23 cupcakes. How sweet
Matt Blakey, co-owner of Chapelford Villages Custom Cupcake Company told E! News, A lady called us asking if we could supply some cupcakes. I told her we were busting at the seams because of the holidays. She said it was for Harry Styles, and I said, Oh, OK, cool. Send him along.
Blakey went on to say the company typically only sold cupcakes by the dozen, however, they decided to make an exception for One Directions frontman and whipped up 23 cupcakes in an assortment of flavors. Later, I got a phone call from my wife that Harry Styles was standing on the doorstep, Blakey said. I didnt think he would come to pick them up.
In addition to a new video release, touring England with Styles and a sweet cupcake surprise, Swift was in for one more birthday present. The Hollywood Foreign Press Association gave her a Golden Globe nomination for Safe and Sound, from the Hunger Games soundtrack. And she was tickled. Best birthday surprise EVER-just found out that Safe&Sound is nominated for a GOLDEN GLOBE!! Thank you @goldenglobes and HFPA! #hungergames, she tweeted.
Now, that was some birthday!
