Taylor Swift Goes Brunette for CoverGirl

In a new behind-the-scenes video posted by CoverGirl, Taylor Swift ditches her glowing golden locks in favor of a curly, brunette 'do. Swift couldn't look bad even if she tried, but after so many years as a blonde, the darker look is a shock.

The CoverGirl video -- filmed during a photoshoot for her upcoming ad campaign -- seems to explore the idea of transformation, with Swift taking on four different looks: Clean, Rocker, Glam and Country. "I think in life we all have a bunch of different versions of ourselves," the country singer says in the clip. "So lose the mask, and see yourself, be yourself."

Now the hip-hop hipster brand has been snatched up by a retail giant, Macy's. Wayne's fashion line has already been seen on professional skater P-Rod and pop icons like Rihanna. Lenny Kravitz To Be the Next Ralph Lauren?

Lenny Kravitz is going global with his lifestyle and fashion brand, and the 48-year-old rocker said he hopes his brand can rival that of iconic designer Ralph Lauren.

Having conquered the music world, Kravitz opened a New York City-based interior design company in 2003. Earlier this year, he dabbled in the fashion world by collaborating with the darling footwear brand TOMS. After the success of these design ventures, the singer-turned-actor wants to expand Kravitz Design into an empire that includes furniture, bedding and clothing.

"Yes, well the plan is to make it a lifestyle brand. That's been my dream for this company. The same way you would see Ralph Lauren," he told CNN. Kravitz's wild, edgy style could certainly translate well into a fashion empire. Should Mr. Lauren start to feel worried?
