The answer seems to be safe, despite some confusion. On Saturday, a nephew reported to police that she was missing while Paris Jackson, daughter of Michael Jackson and granddaughter of Katherine, tweeted confirmation of that fact: yes, my grandmother is missing. i havent spoken with her in a week i want her home now. On Sunday law enforcement authorities confirmed that Mrs. Jackson was fine and with family in Arizona. Jermaine Jackson also issued a statement Sunday to, in his words, end this wildfire of madness. In it, he confirmed that Katherine Jackson was resting on doctors advice and staying with his sister, Rebbie Jackson.

It dismays me that such an alarmist missing person report has caused unnecessary anxiety among Michaels children who will understandably react to what they misunders! tand, he ar or are told, he said. lFans around the country put aside anxiety to see The Dark Knight Rises over the weekend in the wake of the shootings in Aurora, Colo. Im not going to let some nut who shoots people dictate what Im going to do, Ron Bondy, a fan in North Dakota told the Associated Press. Warner Bros. is expected to issue its official box office figures for the movie today. The studio remained silent Sunday on the matter, as promised, although media outlets reported that the Batman movie had taken in $160 million. (AP)

l Fred Willard reportedly will not face jail time after his lewd conduct arrest last week.
