Taylor Swift, Harry Styles Held Hands, Mario Lopez Confirms

Sorry, Conor Kennedy. Looks like Taylor Swift may be writing a new "Love Story" -- with One Direction's Harry Styles!

The "Begin Again" singer, 22, was holding hands with Styles, 18, on Thursday afternoon, says X Factor co-host Mario Lopez.

Lopez, 39, talked about the two on his 104.3 MY FM radio show on Friday morning, noting that he had seen them together the previous day on the X Factor set in Los Angeles.

"Taylor Swift was the special guest performer, and [here's] a little inside scoop for you," the host told his listeners. "During rehearsals, Harry from One Direction came and slapped me on the back, and said, 'Hey, Mario, how ya doing?' And I said, 'What are you doing here?' And he sort of [pointed] toward Taylor."

Later, Lopez added, he saw the pop stars "walking off hand in hand. So Taylor Swift and Harry from One Direction -- you heard it here first. [They're] officially hanging out, I can say that much."

Swift -- whose exes include Joe Jonas, Jake Gyllenhaal, John Mayer, Taylor Lautner, and, most recently, 18-year-old Kennedy -- is currently making the rounds to promote her smash new album, Red. E! News first reported that the singer had been spotted with Styles yesterday, as she prepared for her Nov. 15 X Factor performance.

"Harry is there with her now," a witness told the site. "She is doing rehearsals this afternoon...He was sitting with her mom and the rest of her entourage."

"After she finished, he went up to the stage. They were joking and laughing," the source added. "He picked her up and threw her over his shoulder! and carr! ied her off."
