Taylor Swift will headline Dick Clarks New Years Rockin Eve

Taylor Swift has ensured that her dominance will continue into next year by booking the headlining spot for this years New Years Rockin Eve special.

Reuters reports that organizers said Friday that the Red singer will headline the special edition of Rockin Eve.

It is the first since the death of creator Dick Clark and producers will pay tribute to him with a two-hour kick-off special. The tribute will include clips of the American Bandstand host and interviews with friends and musicians who will talk about his impact on music.

Ryan Seacrest will be back to handle hosting duties and tweeted his excitement over Swift joining the show.

Saying that Swift will be everywhere this winter is an understatement. The singer has secured a spot on The X Factor Wednesday and will perform at the American Music Awards on Nov. 18. She has also been picked to co-host CBS Grammy nominations special with LL Cool J on Dec. 5.

Swift also has a tour planned for next year with Ed Sheeran.

Red debuted on Billboard with 1.2 million copies sold. During ! its second week, the album topped the Billboard 200 chart again, selling 344,000 copies.

Rockin Eve features musical guests from around the world and runs at 5 hours.
