Taylor Swift Wows On The Red Carpet At ACM Awards But Misses Out On A Gong (PHOTOS)
WENNTaylor Swift was the star of the show at last night's Academy of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas but despite shining (literally) on the red carpet, the songstress failed to pick up a gong for one of her five nominations.
The 23-year-old had a phenomenal year in 2012 with her album Red going multi-platinum in the the US but poor Taylor couldn't repeat her chart success at the prestigious awards last night.

The singer was nominated for five major gongs at the annual event including Album of the Year for Red, Female Vocalist of the Year and the top prize Entertainer of the Year. The star lost out on the Female Vocalist prize to one of the night's big winners Miranda Lambert..
Meanwhile ACM Awards co-host Luke Bryan claimed Entertainer of the Year, a sore loss for Taylor who was hoping to become the first woman in the 48-year history of the awards to take the top honour for a third time.

Despite losing out on a gong, Taylor did shine on the red carpet in a stunning metallic dress. The glittering chain-mail style gown featured a backless design and the singer finished her look with peep toe shoes and a sleek ponytail.
