Taylor Swift introduced her Twitter followers to her new BFF this week, posting a picture of her new kitten with the message, "Hanging out with my new roommate, Meredith." Adorable, right?!
And it seems like we're not the only ones who find Ms. Meredith Swift adorable; she already has a celebrity fan!

Soon after Swift posted a picture of Meredith, Perry tweeted her friend, "I want to cuddle that kitten so hard!"
But Perry wasn't done showing her love for the kitten, whom Swift says likes "chasing her own tail."
When Swift posted a picture of herself with Meredith with the caption "Cat lady," Perry responded: "Uuuuuugggh give me heeeeer!!!"
Yes, we think Perry and Meredith will get along just fine when they finally meet!
