Report: Taylor Swift to join James Taylor at Tanglewood

The Berkshire Eagle recently reported, using unnamed sources, that country superstar Taylor Swift will be the surprise guest in the July 2 James Taylor concert at Tanglewood.

Tanglewood representatives, however, said they could not confirm if Swift would be performing with Taylor.

If the two do share the stage (a James Taylor Swift show?), it won't be their first time performing together. Swift brought Taylor out during the finale of her Speak Now tour in November at Madison Square Garden. The sang Swift's "Fifteen" and Taylor's "Fire and Rain."

Taylor has been performing annual around the Fourth of July at Tanglewood for the last 10 years or so. In addition to the July 2 concert, he will also be performing July 3 and 4. The Fourth of July show is already sold out, but tickets are still available for Monday and Tuesday, ranging in price from $24-$98 at Tanglewood Shed, Tanglewood, 297 West St., Lenox, Mass. Call (888) 266-1200 or visit http://www.bso.org for tickets.
