Taylor Swift and John Mayer have near run-in just one day after he called 'Dear John' 'humiliating'

John Mayers confrontational interview with Rolling Stone couldnt have been released at a more ironic time.

Shortly after it was released that the Born and Raised rocker called ex-lover and country star Taylor Swifts song, Dear John, cheap songwriting and bulls***, and also noted that the song humiliated him; the two had a near-awkward run-in Tuesday evening.

Page Six reports that the 22-year-old singer nearly flipped when she noticed that her 34-year-old ex was dining at West Hollywoods Tower Bar, the same bar she was planning to eat at.

According to a source, Taylor very visibly in front of the entire restaurant demanded to be moved to the other side. The bars usually an oasis of calm and privacy for celebrities and power players, but this was drama central.

According to Us Weekly, a pal of Taylors is upset with Mayers recent Rolling Stone interview, claiming that she cant believe hes playing the victim. The friend adds, John was a player and treated her like st. He looked at her as a conquest."

Other reports state that it's uncertain if the ex-lovers actually even made eye contact with each other.
