CINCINNATI -- When Taylor Swift mentioned the name of a former junior high school classmate in a recent Vogue interview, she probably didn't imagine how that girl's life would change. In the Vogue interview, Swift said the name of Sarah Jaxheimer, describing her as, "That seventh-grade girl who looks like she's 25. How do you do it Sarah Jaxheimer? Why is your hair so shiny?"It turns out Sarah Jaxheimer is a senior at Miami University in Oxford. As soon as her name was out there, the speculation began that Jaxheimer is the lyrical nemesis featured in the Swift song, "You Belong With Me." In the song, Swift sings about the boy she longs to date, who is instead dating the popular girl in school.Lyrics like, "She wears high heels, I wear sneakers. She's cheer captain and I'm on the bleachers," have many speculating whether Jaxheimer is the "she" in this reference.WLWT spoke with Jaxheimer on Friday, who said the whole experience has been too overwhelming for her. She said she's hoping this all just blows over. When Jaxheimer spoke with Popdust.com a few days ago, she said she was not in fact a cheerleader, but did play volleyball with Swift in junior high school. But there may be more to the speculation. Jaxheimer did confess that a boy may have come between she and Swift.Well, I think it might have something to do with the fact that I was dating the boy she liked, she told Popdust.com.But Jaxheimer told the website that she didn't think any of Swift's songs were about her.
