Taylor Swift receives an apology from Michael J Fox: 'We're good'

Taylor Swift has reportedly received an apology from Michael J Fox.

On Thursday (January 17), Fox was asked if he would let Swift date his 23-year-old son Sam after Tina Fey joked that Swift should stay away from Sam at the recent Golden Globes Awards.

Fox is quoted as saying: "I don't keep up with it all. But Taylor Swift writes songs about everybody she goes out with, right? What a way to build a career."

The Back to the Future star also made fun of Swift's break-up songs, envisioning one in which his son was the subject: "'Sam, You Piece of S**t'. Oh... that was the girl you brought home!"

The next day (January 18) Swift posted on her Twitter page: "Hey everybody, Michael J. Fox got in touch with me today and we are good. Thank you for having my back."
