Taylor Swift looks sweet in stripes in her campaign for Keds.

It was announced at the end of last year the country singer had signed a deal with the iconic shoe brand and now the first picture has surfaced in the Philippines edition of Cosmopolitan.

Stripes make up an essential part of the pretty blonde's casual wardrobe and Taylor didn't stray far from her usual style for the advertisement.

The I Knew You Were Trouble singer dons a red and white sweater in the pattern, teamed with a floaty, white ballerina-style skirt.

On her feet she sports a classic pair of white Keds sneakers, as she sits strumming her guitar.

The campaign has a somewhat wholesome, all-American appearance, which is pulled together by Taylor's cute hairstyle.

The 23-year-old wears her hair in a plaited up-do and accessorises the look with diamond earrings.

The slogan splashed across the snap reads "here's to the brave girls", hinting at the star's status as one of the most powerful women in pop.

The only reoccurring splash of colour in the campaign is red, which is featured on the stripes of her jumper, her guitar and on her lips.

Red also happens to be Taylor's favourite colour and the title of her latest album.

When the news of her collaboration with Keds was first announced, it was also said she would design a limited-edition pair of crimson sneakers.

The casual style Taylor sports for Keds works perfectly for the campaign, however the singer proved she can also work a dressed-up style at the Golden Globes on Sunday.

The star stunned on the red carpet, clad in a backless Donna Karan gown.
