Taylor Swift added to BRIT Awards line-up

The I Knew You Were Trouble hitmaker - who is nominated for Best International Female at the ceremony - will take to the stage alongside acts including Justin Timberlake, One Direction and Emeli Sande later this month.

Taylor, 22, is the final artist confirmed to perform at the music industry extravaganza, BRITs organisers announced today.

Other artists set to sing at the event - which takes place at London's The O2 on February 20 - include Robbie Williams, Mumford & Sons, Ben Howard and Muse.

Fans of the Love Story songstress expressed their delight on Twitter upon hearing she will be performing.

One fan wrote: "@taylorswift13 performing at the BRIT awards? What is life this is the best thing that could ever happen like ever (sic)"

Others joked about Taylor being reunited with former boyfriend, One Direction star Harry Styles.

One Tweet said: "Taylor Swift and One Direction are going to perform on the BRITs, well this is gonna be awkward!(sic)"

The star's appearance at the awards follows her most successful year in the British music charts, with fourth studio album Red becoming her first to top the UK album charts in October 2012 and two top five hit singles in We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together and I Knew You Were Trouble.

The Best International Female nod marks Taylor's second BRIT nomination, following a 2010 nomination for International Breakthrough Artist.
