Taylor Swift 'Can't Wait To Meet UK Boys At The Brits'

She'll join a star-studded line up when the Brit Awards kicks off later this month, but Taylor Swift admits the prospect of rubbing shoulders with some of her favourite artists is her main reason for performing.

The 22-year old singer/songwriter is pencilled in for a performance at the 33rd edition of the annual show when it launches at the O2 in London on February 20th, but while she can't wait to get onstage Taylor is more excited about meeting the likes of Grammy Award winners Mumford & Sons, rockers Muse and award show regular Emeli Sande.

Taylor is a huge fan of British music, a source told The Sun. She was over the moon when she found out Mumford & Sons were going, because she had Babel on repeat for months."

The country starlet is also relishing he prospect of meeting rising star Tom Odell recently named the Brits' Critics Choice Winner after he covered one of her hits during a Radio 1 Live Lounge session recently.

She loves Tom, too she was blown away by his cover of 'I Knew You Were Trouble,' added the source.

While she might be looking forward to the event, there might be an awkward backstage moment in store for Taylor as ex-boyfriend Harry Styles and his One Direction bandmates will also take to the stage on the night to perform their Comic Relief single 'One Way or Another'.

The couple's brief romance came to an end last month during what was supposed to be a romantic break in The Bahamas.

According to reports Taylor known for writing songs about her former beau's has penned a string of tracks about the tousle haired teenager in the weeks following their split.
