Taylor Swift refuses to leave wedding

Between writing hit songs and spending time with her boyfriend, it seems that Taylor Swift has found a new hobby: wedding crashing. Swift and her boyfriend crashed the Kennedy wedding despite failing to RSVP.

Victoria Gifford Kennedy, mother of the bride, asked the 22-year-old Swift to leave the event and did not want Swifts appearance to distract from the true meaning of her daughter Kyle Kennedys wedding at the Fairmont Copley Plaza in Boston.

Despite her attempt to keep the focus on the bride, the singer refused to leave.

They texted me an hour before the wedding and asked if they could come, Vicki Kennedy said. I responded with a very clear, Please do not come. They came anyway....I personally went up to Ms. Swift, whose entrance distracted the entire event, politely introduced myself to her, and asked her as nicely as I could to leave. It was like talking to a ghost. She seemed to look right past me, she told the Boston Herald.

Of course having a high profile celebrity, such as Swift, at a wedding will not only attract media attention, but also the attention of fans and paparazzi. Its expected.

Paula Erikson, the singers representative, disagrees with these statements, however.

There is no truth to that. Taylor was invited to the wedding and the bride thanked her profusely for being there, she told the Boston Herald.

According to the N.Y. Post , even though Swift did not seem to comply with the requests to leave the wedding, she and her 18-year-old boyfriend did not stay for the reception dinner and instead went back later for music and dancing.

Even though its been a short romance for the country music star so far, she has even bought a mansion in the Kennedy family! s neighb orhood.
