Taylor Swift will reveal 'really cool news' in livechat next week
Taylor Swift would like to speak with you.
Not now, impatient Swifties, but soon, it seems considering countrys reigning princess will be launching a live webcast on YouTube Monday, Aug. 13 starting at 7 p.m. ET. If you have a question for T-Swizz, you can submit it, in real-time, so long as you have a YouTube account (a chat tool available to YouTube users will be running live during the webcast). But in between all those queries about hair-care routines and what Meredith the kitten ate for breakfast, it seems Swift will also be making a very-special announcement.
As she hinted in a video message posted today: I want to share some news with you some really cool news Im not going to go into too much, but its cool.
Maybe Swifts finally going to share the recipe to caramel delight?
Or maybe shell reveal shes actually a woodland fairy. Or Gelfling. Or Blood Elf.
Or maybe shell just confirm that shes dating Conor Kennedy and millions of YouTube users will pull their sleeping bags over their heads and giggle until they pass out into bowls of Chex mix and gumdrops.
But if we were going to bet our signed ticket stubs on what Swifts really cool news will be, wed guess shes going to announce a new record. In October 2011, the singer-songwriter told The Hollywood Reporter that she planned to release her fourth album by fall 2012, and even revealed that shed written 25 songs at that point. That s! ame month, a New Yorker profile of Swift included some info on what she was developing, and she told the magazine that Speak Nows follow-up was going to be gloomy. Theyre sad. If Im being honest she said of her new songs, a point she re-iterated in a later interview with Vogue. As she told the fashion mag in January 2012, shed been feeling particularly inspired by love lost. Theres just been this earth-shattering, not recent, but absolute crash-and-burn heartbreak, and that will turn out to be what the next album is about. The only way that I can feel better about myself pull myself out of that awful pain of losing someone is writing songs about it to get some sort of clarity.
