You know how good Taylor Swift's eyelashes look in the ad for Cover Girl Natureluxe Mousse Mascara? Well, you can't have them. Nor can Swift. Nor can anyone, really. Because those lashes came from a computer, not from the Natureluxe Mousse Mascara. It even says so in mice type at the bottom of the ad: "Lashes enhanced in post-production." So it's not like Cover Girl was being dishonest. But still, the National Advertising Division of the Better Business Bureau took notice, and Procter & Gamble (the makers of Cover Girl) has since stopped running the ad. Keep in mind, Swift herself has absolutely nothing to do with this advertising faux pas. In fact, her lashes look so good alone and/or with a little mascara, I can't imagine why the people at Cover Girl felt the need to enhance them at all.
