Spotted: Taylor Swift and Nicki Minaj at Billboard's Women in Music Event

When the country cutie was honored at Billboard's Women in Music event last night and palled around with Nicki Minaj, that caught our attention.

The unlikely duo posed together for a number of pictures at the event. Swift showed off her new haircut and looked as cute as ever in a sweet red dress. Minaj managed to tame her look considerably: Her hair was only one color, her dress was long, and her cleavage was mostly under control. Of course, she still sported her signature bubblegum pink lipstick.

By the way, we'd love to see these two swap wardrobes. And hairstyles, and makeup, and shoes! Imagining Ms. Swift in a fried chicken drumstick necklace is way too much fun.

The stars probably don't, you know, get pedicures and ice cream together once a week, but at least in the music world they admire each other's work. Minaj even credits Swift's tweets and support of her song "Super Bass" as what helped make it so popular. "I just saw her last week, and I told her, 'This is not something I'm saying to the cameras. This is something you had a hand in.' This just shows the power of her words," Minaj said.

Both gals were honored at the event, with Minaj winning the Rising Artist award and Swift taking home the top honor, Woman of the Year.

The country star told the crowd about her teenage dreams of fame in her acceptance speech. "I would go through every single page and every single chart and just daydream about what it would be like to see my name in there someday," she said. "And today I walked in to flashing camera bulbs and all these important people in music, and I thought, 'I guess that's what it looks like.'"

Minaj dared others to dream in her heartfelt speech. "To everyone out there, I am so proud of you for showing me this can be done," she said. "You can be your own boss, and make your own music, and project an image you believe in and keep good morals and all that go! od stuff ."
