Taylor Swift penned her number one hit 'We're Never Ever Getting Back Together' about ex Jake Gyllenhall and now she's at it again with her new break-up track 'I Knew You Were In Trouble'.

The singer gave fans a sneak peek of the new track on Good Morning America Monday, which is the latest from forthcoming new album Red.

''It's a song that's one of my favourites on the album because it sounds just as chaotic as the feeling was when I wrote it," Swift explained on GMA.

"It's a song about being frustrated with yourself because here you are heartbroken and you knew, when you first saw that person, you saw all these red flags, and you just went for it anyways. So, shame on me."

Lyrics in the breakup track include, "I knew you were trouble when you walked in. So shame on me now. Flew me to places I'd never been, so you put me down."

Swift is currently dating Conor Kennedy but with Joe Jonas, Taylor Lautner, Jake Gyllenhall, and John Mayer as her ex boyfriends we wonder who 'I Knew You Were In Trouble' is about?

'I Knew You Were In Trouble' is available to download now, with new album Red in stores from October 22.
