Taylor Swift Debuts Music Video For 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together!' [Video]

Taylor Swifts break-up anthem We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together! has been No. 1 on the Billboard charts for the past two weeks, and now the Nashville country rocker has debuted a video to go along with it.

The video made its premiere on a billboard in the middle of New Yorks Time Square, toofab reported. In the video for We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together!, Taylor Swift is seen fighting with an on-again-off-again boyfriend while seeking comfort from some furry friends.

Some have speculated which of Taylor Swifts famous exes the song could be about toofab thinks that Jake Gyllenhaal is a good possibility but whoever it is, the lyrics make it clear shes not happy with the person.

Taylor Swifts bitter words say it all:

Im really gonna miss you picking fights/And me, falling for it screaming that Im right/And you, will hide away and find your peace of mind with some indie record thats much cooler than mine

The furry characters may seem out of place in a vengeful song about someone she clearly doesnt care for, but Taylor Swift told MTV that she wanted it that way.

I wanted the video! to look as quirky as the song sounds, so the apartment is covered in knitting and theres random woodland creatures popping up, said Taylor Swift, who is performing at MTVs video music awards on Thursday. We did it all in one take, one shot, with one camera; theres no editing. All the costume changes and scenery changes that you see are done live, with the camera moving around following us; it was like a performance.

The song is off of Taylor Swifts upcoming album Red, and We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together! is a break-out hit so far, The Huffington Post noted. Aside from holding onto the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100 charts, it set a record by selling 623,000 digital copies in the week it debuted.

The album arrives in stores October 22.

Taylor Swift is likely hoping she wont need to break out We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together! or any of her other famous break-up songs again. Her relationship with Conor Kennedy is moving quickly, with the 22-year-old Swift moving in across the street from her beau.
