Taylor Swift tries to beatbox with LL Cool J in Grammy Awards promo

Taylor Swift has proved she's incredibly talented in many musical pursuits, but now the country singer has taken on beatboxing for the first time.

In a promotional video for the 2012 Grammy Awards, which are set to take place on February 12, Swift tried to accompany Grammy host, "NCIS: Los Angeles" actor LL Cool J in a beatboxing match. The vocal percussion eventually ended when the pair collapsed in a fit of laughter.

The promo is one of several humorous Grammy spots starring Swift and LL Cool J, which can be seen below. Swift is slated to be one of the performers on the music award show and is up for three awards, including Country Album of the Year.

Swift already has four Grammy Awards under her belt, while LL Cool J has two.

Artists and bands set to perform at the 2012 Grammy Awards include Adele, Taylor Swift, Nicki Minaj, Coldplay and Rihanna, Jason Aldean and Kelly Clarkson, Glen Campbell with The Band Perry and Blake Shelton, Foo Fighters, Bruno Mars and Paul McCartney.

The ceremony may include a tribute to Grammy-winning blues singer Etta James, who recently died at age 73 after battling cancer. Christina Aguilera and Stevie Wonder, who are also Grammy recipients, sang at her funeral on January 28.

The 54th Annual Grammy Awards are set to air on CBS live from Los Angeles's Staples Center Feburary 12, at 8 p.m. ET.
